Workshops

These workshops often take place during artistic residencies, creative processes, and tours, functioning as an extension of William Cardoso’s choreographic practice. Through these sessions, the choreographer brings the work closer to different communities and participants, using improvisation and physical research tools connected to the themes of the piece in development.

Drawing from excerpts, physical states, and principles present in the works, the workshops create a shared space where participants can directly experience the choreographer’s movement identity; an intense and sensitive physical language deeply connected to breath, effort, and presence.
