A Year Without You looks at what happens after a breakup—an emotional fracture that disrupts your life and leaves you feeling unsure of yourself. The piece looks at how we deal with such a break, where time feels slow and emotions become heavy, tangled and impossible to escape. It reflects the fact that we want to move forward but feel trapped by the weight of it all. But, even though we struggle, time moves us forward, often without us knowing, guiding us to a place of release, lightness and renewal.
