Dear Mum by Vanda Santos is a collaborative exploration between artists William Cardoso and Vanda Santos, developed around the solo work Dear Mum. Conceived as a second layer to the performative piece, this photographic collaboration offers an intimate visual perspective on the work. Observing the subject through the lens of a photographer while remaining deeply connected to the emotional and artistic core of the performance.
The collaboration took place at Uferstudios in Berlin, Germany, during the creative process of the solo work, capturing moments where performance, presence, and image intersect.
The results were later on exposed at the premier of the work as an exhibition where people could walk around and visualize the work.
